30TH ANNUAL LIVING SKIES STUDENT FILM FESTIVAL (REGINA, SK)

DATE: FRIDAY, MARCH 9, 2018

TIME: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM (WORKSHOP), 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM (COFFEE/MEET & GREET)

LOCATION: EDUCATION BUILDING ROOM 175 (PRODUCTION STUDIO)

The Living Skies Student Film Festival has an exciting weekend of workshops planned to celebrate the annual event's 30th anniversary! This workshop is free to attend, and open to the public.

With film examples and colourful anecdotes from 20+ years in the field, filmmaker Ian Toews (Landscape as Muse, Bugs on the Menu, Ageless Gardens) tries to get the core of what makes a good documentarian (or if nothing else, entertain you).

This workshop is presented by and made possible through support from the Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative, a non-profit artist-run centre which supports and assists independent visionary film and video production in Saskatchewan.

Students are especially encouraged to attend, as the last hour of the workshop will feature an opportunity to meet and have coffee with Ian. We hope to see you there!
