AGELESS GARDENS - SEASON 3 TRAILER & VISIONTV PREMIERE!

Gardening is therapeutic, at any age.

Ageless Gardens, a visual celebration of Canada’s gardens and the gardeners behind them, returns for a third season. This five-part documentary series will have its World Broadcast Premiere on VisionTV, Monday, February 15 at 9 pm ET.

Season 3 expands upon the original vision for the series, focusing on the ‘ageless’ part of gardening. This season features people of all ages, from a 2-year-old picking tomatoes with her father, to a 90-year old looking back at the growth of the therapeutic garden she founded with her husband. The series continues to prove that gardening is an important therapeutic activity, no matter your age.

Ageless Gardens, Season 3 was partially filmed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Spring is generally the most important time of year for gardeners, but in 2020, production was halted during a COVID lockdown in British Columbia. Fortunately, with a pared-down crew, and COVID protocols in place, production resumed shortly thereafter. Gardeners (not to mention our small crew) can’t be held back from getting out in the garden, and their perseverance, even during the pandemic, was inspiring to witness.

As a result of our new reality, themes emerged this year of environmental activism and teamwork, all taking place in the garden. Watch the new Season 3 Trailer for a preview of the season to come.

The first two seasons of Ageless Gardens were nominated for a total of eight Leo Awards, including Best Documentary Series, Direction, Cinematography, Editing, Sound, and Music.

Programming Note: An encore presentation of Ageless Gardens Season 2 episodes will be broadcast directly after the premiere of each new Season 3 episode. So, back-to-back Ageless Gardens Mondays at 9 pm and 9:30 pm ET.
